About The Team & Role

The Participation Team have an exciting opportunity for someone with a desire to learn and develop in administration and to complete their Level 3 qualification. This is a fantastic chance to gain a qualification through practical experience in an office environment and through spending time learning in an educational setting. You will receive comprehensive training and development opportunities throughout your apprenticeship.

You will be joining a dynamic service who work with children, young people and front-line staff to enable them to give their views and have a say in order to support Gloucestershire County Council to improve its services for children and young people.

About You

We are looking for a candidate who is keen to develop their skills in administration and contribute to a more innovative way of working. You must, therefore, be adaptable, have excellent communication skills and can prioritise workload.

Lived experience of being in care at any time during childhood, before the age of 18 years old, would be advantageous for this role, although not essential.

The council is committed to supporting those in finding employment who have experienced being looked after by a local authority.
