We are currently recruiting for a Head of Digital Learning to lead, develop and implement the strategic vision for digital learning across EDT. In addition to supporting UK contracts including the Early Careers Framework (ECF) and the National Professional Qualifications (NPQ) framework, the Head of Digital Learning will also work with colleagues in the Middle East and Sub-Saharan-Africa to promote and manage the use of digital technologies to support, enhance and develop learning and teaching throughout EDT contracts provision. Working closely with the Education Advisers and Programme Management teams and other Specialists, the Head of Digital Learning plays a key role in supporting implementation of the EDT’s learning and teaching strategy, combining an understanding of Pedagogical and Teacher Professional Development with the ability to encourage and inspire innovative approaches.

The post holder has overall responsibility for the advanced provision, maintenance and support of the digital platforms and associated learning content that closely support learning and teaching, supported by technical and production experts. EDT aims to transform its learning and teaching environment to enhance learner outcomes, reflect best practice in technology-enhanced learning and to effectively equip its learners to develop in their careers. The Head of Digital Learning will also be responsible for improving the digital learning skills of our staff to empower them to support the Digital Learning strategy.
