**About the role**:
Activate Learning has recently secured funding to deliver Higher Technical Education (HTE) skills injection funded projects, focused on supporting the growth of level 4 and 5 (post A Level) qualifications.

As part of this, we are now recruiting for Digital Technologies/Computing Subject Matter Experts to help us design the educational experience for learners on new online Digital Technologies programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise to develop an online learning experience that unpicks and translates the rapidly evolving digital world.

You will be responsible for the planning and design of the digital programmes, ensuring the curriculum at every stage of the learner journey is current, relevant, and supports our learners on a path to success.

Collaboration and innovation are at the heart of this role. You will work closely with other Subject Matter Experts, faculty and our Digital Education team, challenging existing processes and practices in a supportive manner to drive improvement and create exceptional digital learning materials.

**Location**: This is hybrid role, working remotely with an occasional requirement to travel to our Berkshire campuses for team meetings.

**Salary**: £42,618 - £52,394 per annum pro rata, depending on qualifications and experience

**What do you need to be successful as a Digital Technologies Subject Matter Expert?**

We are looking for experts in the field of digital technologies with specific expertise in computing and data analytics who are passionate about shaping the future of higher education with the ability to translate complex theories, and concepts.

If you could enhance our learner’s understanding in areas such as; innovation and transformational trends, hardware advancement and exponential progress of computing, software programming as well as app and website developments, and data analytics, then we would like to hear from you

**About you**:

- Professional/industry experience
- Experience of teaching computing and/or digital technologies
- Experience of developing teaching materials and delivering projects to deadlines, and achieve targets will also be pivotal to this project, along with a creative and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
