School-based Youth Justice Prevention Officer

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Liverpool to assist with the appointment of a School-based Youth Justice Prevention Officer, on a 1.5-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £16.04 - £20.31 per Hour

Responsibilities:

  • To support young people to improve their attendance in school as well as improving their engagement in their education placement. The team works collaboratively with stakeholders including schools, safeguarding teams, health care providers, CAMHS and the Police to achieve the best outcomes for children in education settings
  • The role will provide the opportunity to develop creative, strengths-based approaches to working with children and families.
  • You will be based within the school although you will also be expected to support young people and their families within the community.

Requirements:

  • it is essential that you are a Car Driver/have access to appropriate transport to travel citywide.

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS
