Job summary

Here at InHealth, we are expanding our teams and we have a requirement for a Healthcare Support Worker/Decontamination Technician to join our Endoscopy team in Yeovil.

You will deliver an Endoscopy service to the highest standard, using a model of care that recognises the psychological, physical and social needs of our patients.

The successful person will be working in our brand new state of the art purpose built diagnostic centre which is due to open in November 2024. If you are keen to start prior to this date, we are more than happy to offer you a role on our mobile endoscopy units where we can integrate you into the business and provide lots of exciting training opportunities.

Main duties of the job

Welcoming patients to the clinic in a professional manner and acting as patient advocate at all times.

Cleaning, monitoring and tidying equipment as directed and report any problems or malfunctions to senior member of staff

Record, feedback and convey relevant patient information/observations to the seniors.

Delivers patient care in accordance with the care plan as documented by the Senior Nurse.

Maintain effective communications with patients, relatives and other members of the multidisciplinary team.

Demonstrates positive attitude, acting as an advocate for InHealth and deliver highest standard of care accordingly.
