The Role:

We are looking for an engineer toprovide product support subsidiaries of the business. The roleinvolves supporting Electric Actuators by answering technicalquestions assisting with customer applications and troubleshooting.This support will involve setting up and programming PLCs motordrivers and industrial communications (PROFINET EtherCAT IOLinketc.). The successful candidate will also be required to design anddeliver training courses/presentations to European subsidiarieswrite user manuals and technical guides and carry outinvestigations and tests to evaluate the companys products.

To be successful in thisrole you must have:

  • ADegree or HND Qualification Electrical Engineering ElectronicsElectromechanical or MechatronicsEngineering
  • Minimum 1 year relevant workexperience
  • Knowledge of PLCs and Ladder orStructured Text programming language
  • Knowledgeof electrical motion control for industrialapplications
  • Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills as you will be required to write detailedtechnical reports and product documentation
  • Theability to occasionally travel toEurope
