Our client has an exciting opportunity for an Electric Actuators Product Design Engineer. The successful engineer will be required to deliver the very best technical support to customers, the European subsidiaries, the Japanese Technical Centre and company headquarters.The main purpose of this position is to design New and Special Electric Actuators. In addition, the engineer will also be expected to support with technical inquiries, investigate product claims, product testing, produce various technical documentation and to identify, develop and deliver training. Conduct research within the market including trends and competitor activities, providesupport for new products in the European market and Special Electric Actuators designs is also a requirement of the role.Requirements:A Degree or HND Qualification - Electronics, Electromechanical or MechatronicsEngineeringMinimum 1 year relevant work experienceKnowledge of electrical motion control for industrial applications.General Electrical Engineering knowledge.Strong verbal and written communication skills as you will be required to write detailed, technical reports and product documentationDesirable:Over 3 year work experience in SolidWorks designing Mechanical components or assemblies for Industrial machineryWorking knowledge of pneumatic and electrical systems and test equipmentExperience to plan and manage projectsTechnical product support experienceExperience of delivering technical trainingEuropean or Japanese language skillsDue to the large number of responses we receive it is not always possible to respond to every application straight away.
