Position: Project Manager - Contract Engineering Team

What You Will Do

As a Project Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for customers from receipt of order through project completion. You will:

Review job specifications and design the required solutions.

Oversee project build and testing.

Liaise with customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Coordinate with technical and commercial teams on a wide range of products and systems.

How You Will Do It

Provide cost-effective solutions to clients while maintaining project margins.

Ensure project deadlines are met.

Collaborate with the Development department to meet job-specific design requirements.

Work with the Production department on system builds.

Brief commissioning engineers via Site Services.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.

Efficiently manage project progress, planning, and budget.

Lead the project team to achieve key results.

Oversee FAT testing on-site in Nottingham and Norwich as needed.

What We Look For

Essential

Electronics engineering (minimum HNC level).

Experience in managing medium to large-scale projects.

Commercial knowledge for reviewing contract terms.

Ability to liaise with clients (occasional international travel).

Strong workload planning skills to meet client and production requirements.

Ability to work within cost limitations to ensure project profitability.

Competent written communication skills to produce manuals, test schedules, and quality procedures.

Preferred

Hands-on experience in electronics design and testing.

Experience in PAVA/PAGA, Fire Suppression, Production Systems

Experience with audio electronics equipment.

Degree in electrical/mechanical engineering.
