This role is to lead the development of a pathway to Adults with a severe and enduring eating disorder, whilst also providing OT provision within the wider adult eating disorder service within Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will work alongside other disciplines to develop a comprehensive pathways. They will lead on matters related to OT provision, this will include offering professional consultation to other professionals and services, alongside supporting and providing packages of care with an OT focus.

Main duties of the job

The Specialist Adult ED Service OT post is within the Eating Disorder service within The Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

The role requires a high level of clinical and professional expertise in order that in the longer-term needs of clients and their carers benefit from a well-coordinated pro-active, specialist, efficient and effective Adult Long Standing Eating Disorder pathway.

The post holder will be invited to play a key role in local strategic developments of service provision. As an emerging area, there is scope and need for research and evaluation. Through established networks and platforms, the post holder has the opportunity to influence and shape Adult Long Standing Eating Disorder provision on a wider and national level.
