Role Overview:

Are you passionate about retail and providing excellent customer service? As a Shop Floor Assistant at 8Bits, you will be an integral part of our team, assisting customers, maintaining the sales floor, and supporting daily operations. Your role will be essential in ensuring our customers have a positive shopping experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers with their purchases, offering friendly and knowledgeable service.
  • Maintain the sales floor’s appearance through effective merchandising, restocking, and organization.
  • Provide information on products, promotions, and in-store events to customers.
  • Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and manage point-of-sale systems.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, checking stock levels, and organizing merchandise.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Support sales initiatives and promotional activities to drive store performance.
  • Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient store operation.
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding sales, returns, and customer interactions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle transactions accurately and manage cash responsibly.
