Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Accounts Receivable – Oracle to join our team.

Accounts Receivable – Oracle forms part of the finance shared services team within the finance operations and is accountable for the collections of all broker and direct customer payments across the general insurance business (UKGI).

The team will support the BAU AR and Risk and Governance teams in remediation and change programmes and provide technical knowledge for the design and build if new policy admin systems integrations into Oracle.

A bit about the job:

Accounts Receivable – Oracle holds a strong technical systems and process knowledge which facilitates the design and build of any new business processes whilst identifying existing areas of opportunity to redesign, automate or remove within the overall Accounts Receivable process. 

This role is fundamental in the support of and shaping of the Accounts Receivable strategy and design; acting as a consultant and SME with detailed knowledge of Oracle and the manner in which this system interfaces to our underwriting platforms and the broker ABC Portal, facilitating any work moves/relocation/ automation whilst taking any new ideas, concepts, learnings and applying these to any existing opportunities either within the UK or WNS. 

Day to day planning and risk management decisions need to be made in collaboration with project teams and other Aviva Business areas.

Working individually and as part of virtual teams across the business, being the representative for Accounts Receivable and face out to the wider Aviva business. 

You will need to simplify the complex processes to senior managers and stakeholder. You will manage all change with appropriate governance within the agreed timescales.  Have a good understanding on how the organisation works and can use this to mobilise resources to get things done. Understands, respects and can empathise with differences in people and cultures, recognising the benefits of cultural diversity. Engages the organisation and create milestones to deliver the strategy.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Understanding of AR processes and able to translate into business requirements. Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to ensure engagement and expectations are managed to drive the right outcomes for our customers. Support change which delivers improvements to the end to end processes and delivers the shared service benefits. Identify risks and issues associated with processes. Lead implementation of business processes into business areas.
