Multi Crime Service Volunteer (Essex)
Could you provide support to victims of crime and empower them to overcome the emotional, psychological and practical effects of crime?

Contacting victims of crime and helping them to overcome the effects of crime, via face to face, video, or telephone support Advising them on the Criminal Justice System and helping them to navigate through it Identifying situations where the individual should be referred to alternative support networks Sending in reports to the line manager to keep records up to date Providing some administrative support to local teams if required Writing letters to local organisations to raise funds Inputting data on our Case Management SystemThe benefits of volunteering at VS

This opportunity is available to all applicants aged 18 and over. This role requires references and internal safeguarding checks. Volunteers will be asked to provide all relevant documents for VS to carry out these checks. All volunteers must have an active email address that they use regularly and be willing to engage in our electronic means of communication, keeping up-to-date with information on our intranet, maintaining personal details on our database, and engaging in two-way communication.
