Role: KS1 Teaching Assistant

Location: Bootle, Sefton

Salary: £80-95 per day

Working Days: 8.30-3.30 or 9-3, Monday to Friday 

Connex Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a fantastic primary school located in the Bootle area. This rated 'Good' OFSTED school is seeking an KS1 teaching assistant to join their team ASAP, with the possibility of the role going permanent for the right candidate.

The school are hoping to speak with interested Teaching Assistants as soon as possible. The roles will be based in Year 1 working 1:1 with a pupil with SEND. Candidates with experience working with pupils with ASD is desirable but not essential. The hours for this role are 9am-3pm Monday to Friday.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a good understanding of the EYFS or KS1 curriculum.
  • The ability to adapt to different learning environments.
  • It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
