We have a great opportunity for a Montessori Practitioner to join a wonderful setting in the Hounslow area. This nursery offers the highest quality childcare from 3 months to 5 years with a nurturing and stimulating environment from a purpose-built setting, with on-site chefs preparing healthy seasonal menus.

They provide children with a secure and happy, learning environment where they can awake their natural curiosity and interests, and develop manipulative skills. As a Montessori Practitioner, you will encourage the children to become self-confident as they gain their own independence and learn to communicate and display self-control.

In addition to a good salary you can expect, excellent training and professional development, pension, employee assistance, discounted nursery fees, high street discounts (including gym and cinema), free lunch and drinks along with 25 days holiday. This is a 30- 40 hours per week role worked over a minimum of 4 days.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
  • Communicate regularly with parents and carers about their child’s progress, achievements, and areas for further work
  • Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met
  • Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments
  • Assist the children to develop social skills through group activities and lessons, promoting respect, empathy, and collaboration
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Full and relevant Montessori qualification
  • Previous experience of working in a childcare setting
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements
