Job Description

Nursery People is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Montessori Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our nursery, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources that cater to the unique needs and abilities of each child.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Establish and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers through regular updates on their child's progress, achievements, and areas for further development.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the nursery meets the requirements of the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and adheres to relevant regulatory standards.
  • Key Person Approach: Foster a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and develop a sense of belonging.
  • Social Skills Development: Facilitate group activities and lessons that promote respect, empathy, and collaboration among children.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Full and relevant Montessori qualification.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a childcare setting.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of the Statutory Framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements.
