Job summary
Ward West 1 is a busy trauma ward and we are currently looking for a highly motivated receptionist to join the team. You will be the first point of contact for relatives both on the phone and in person, therefore a professional, friendly approach to patients, visitors and colleagues is essential.
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate effective team work and organisational skills.
Main duties of the job
This role includes, answering the telephone, greeting visitors, dealing with patients face to face, data entry, filing patient records, ordering and other administrative duties. You must have effective communications skills and good IT skills and a friendly welcoming approach.
If you have proven organisational and excellent communication skills, work hard under pressure and as part of a team then we would like to hear from you.
Informal visits are welcomed.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
