Contechs are recruiting on behalf of their client who are known for manufacturing luxury hand-crafted motorcycles. They are looking for SAP Assistant to join their expanding team on a contractbasis. The role will be based in Solihull.

Job Description

As SAP Assistant your main responsibilities are:

Assist in the creation and submission of Purchase Requisitions (PR) in the SAP system based on input from requisitioners. Generate Purchase Orders (PO) accurately within SAP, ensuring alignment with approved PRs and adherence to company policies and procedures. Collaborate with procurement teams and stakeholders to gather necessary information for PRs and POs, including specifications, pricing, and delivery details. Monitor PR and PO workflows within SAP, follow up on approvals, and escalate any issues or delays as necessary to ensure timely processing. Maintain accurate records of PRs, POs, and related documentation within SAP, ensuring data integrity and completeness.

Qualifications / Skills needed

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred. Proven experience working with SAP ERP system, particularly in the procurement module. Strong understanding of procurement processes, including PR to PO conversion, vendor management, and contract compliance. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work independently with minimal supervision. Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse issues and propose solutions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
