Contechs are recruiting on behalf of their client who are known for manufacturing luxury hand-crafted motorcycles. They are looking for **Purchasing Assistant (SAP) **to join their expanding team on a **Contract / Perm **basis. The role will be based in **Solihull.**

**Job Summary**:

- Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an SAP Assistant.
- This role primarily involves providing support for raising Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) into the SAP system.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the creation and submission of Purchase Requisitions (PR) in the SAP system based on input from requisitioners.
- Generate Purchase Orders (PO) accurately within SAP, ensuring alignment with approved PRs and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with procurement teams and stakeholders to gather necessary information for PRs and POs, including specifications, pricing, and delivery details.
- Verify vendor information, terms, and conditions to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Monitor PR and PO workflows within SAP, follow up on approvals, and escalate any issues or delays as necessary to ensure timely processing.
- Maintain accurate records of PRs, POs, and related documentation within SAP, ensuring data integrity and completeness.
- Provide support and guidance to end-users on SAP procurement processes, including training on PR and PO creation as needed.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies or errors related to PRs, POs, invoices, and payments by collaborating with relevant departments and vendors.
- Generate reports and analytics on PR and PO activities within SAP, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
- Stay updated on SAP system enhancements, updates, and best practices related to procurement processes, and proactively implement improvements where applicable.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience working with SAP ERP system, particularly in the procurement module.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, including PR to PO conversion, vendor management, and contract compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
