They are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper. As the new Senior Bookkeeper you'll integrate into a dynamic and experienced team situated in their vibrant Bury St Edmund's office. Looking after your own portfolio of clients it's now a fantastic opportunity to join the practice, engaging with a diverse range of intriguing clients, who operate in a variety of industries.


You will have your own portfolio of clients and do their bookkeeping tasks, as well as managing monthly management accounts, VAT returns, and credit control, to overseeing transactional duties and serving as the primary liaison for core clients in the Media & Entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage bookkeeping tasks for a diverse client portfolio.
  • Purchase & Sales Ledger
  • Prepare Monthly Management Accounts, VAT Returns, and Cash Flow Management & Forecasts.
  • Training more junior members of staff
  • Oversee all transactional duties with precision.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a practice environment as well as knowledge of Xero / Cloud accounting software.
