Labour 24/7 are an employment business acting on behalf of our Bury based client who currently have an opportunity for an experienced PA to join their team.
Our client is a leading engineering company and require a personal assistant to the directors / admin support for senior managers
Hours of work - Monday
- Thursday 8am-4.30pm Friday 8am-2pm. Up to 38 hour working week.
Possibility of hybrid or working from home.
Duties of the role below:
Personal assistant
- Arrange travel and personal appointments and expenses
- Preparing reports and PowerPoints
- Note taking and task allocation for the managers (on behalf of director)
- Project assistant for directors’ strategic plan & projects
Management meetings
- minutes, Agendas and booking rooms/lunch when required
Senior management HR support
- Arranging meetings/minutes /agendas
- Liaising with HR consultant
- Preparing documents
- Staff RTW & reporting
- Minuting HR meetings
Marketing & Commercial
- Liaising with marketing agency and keeping track of reports and actions
- Arranging networking opportunities, booking events for the director
- Support for the director at events and trade association meetings - some travel required
Ad hoc admin
- Support in other departments ad hoc
- Maintaining files and folders
- Project support for improvement and health and safety plans
First point of contact for managers and staff in relation to requirements for meetings/actions for the directors
This position is for a temporary duration of 3 months however due to business needs may lead to permanentResponsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the employer, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Handle phone calls and correspondence with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare itineraries
- Conduct research and compile information as needed
- Assist with personal errands and tasks as assigned
**Skills**:
- Proficient in using Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.)
- Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in basic office tasks such as filing, scanning, and photocopying
