Therole

Fugro are seeking anTechnical Supervisor within theFalmouth, Cornwall Hub, for the Nearshore Team. The Nearshore teamdeliver geo-technical ground investigation projects across the UKand Europe, within renewable and infrastructure industries. TheTechnical Manager is a key member of the operations team. You willhave a focus on HSSE improvements and initiatives, and ensure theUK LSC remains the Centre of Expertise for producing drillingmethodology, technical and operational guidance as well asequipment selection, upgrades, and new builds. Your role willsupport the technical and cultural development of staff to increaseperformance and skills in operating and maintaining plant andequipment.

Whowe're looking for:

The Technical Supervisorwill have proven successful operational experiencewithin the drilling sector or similar industry, of managing theoperations to maintain heavy mechanical plant equipment. TheTechnical Supervisor will evidence effective and strongcommunications, with a proactive and supportive attitude and leadsby example, motivating the team, and collaborating with externaland internal stakeholders. You will take ownership of the Nearshoreplant and equipment holding including the modular JUB's to ensurecondition standards are upheld. Ensuing the equipment is mobilisedand operated onto projects as designed, bridge technical knowledgebetween equipment management and operations, manage, drive andquality control work through the workshop, and input intooperational methodology and innovation. You will engage andfeedback to field personnel and management on maintenancerequirements, expectations, and condition reports. Support andinspire innovation ideas and activities within the business. Youwill show the ability to manage challenging situations and makedecisions under pressure, diligent and hardworking. This role isexciting and challenging and can offer variety.
