We are seeking a talentedand experienced Accounts Senior for a dynamic general practice rolethat encompasses accounts tax bookkeeping andVAT.

Asan Accounts Senior you will play a pivotal role within the firmhandling a broad range of responsibilities and enjoying significantautonomy. This position is ideal for individuals who are qualifiedpartqualified or qualified by experience. KeyResponsibilities:

  • StatutoryAccounts Preparation: Compiling and preparing statutory accountsfor a diverse clientbase.
  • ManagementAccounts: Assisting in the production of managementaccounts.
  • Taxation:Managing personal tax corporate tax and VATreturns.
  • Bookkeeping:Performing general bookkeeping duties using software such as XeroorQuickBooks.
  • Mentoring:Coaching and mentoring junior staff members andtrainees.


RequirementsQualifications:Studying towards or holding ACCA/ACA qualification or qualified byexperience.
Experience:A minimum of 35 years in a UK accountancy practice with substantialexperience in preparing accounts tax returns and managingresponsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traderspartnerships and limitedcompanies.
SoftwareProficiency: Skilled in using accounting software such as XeroQuickBooks Sage andExcel.
CommunicationSkills: Excellent verbal and written communicationabilities.
Attentionto Detail: High level of accuracy and attention todetail.
AnalyticalSkills: Strong analytical and problemsolvingskills.
Teamwork:Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support juniorstaff.

Qualifications: Studying towards or holding ACCA/ACA qualification,or qualified by experience.
