Shift: Saturday and Sunday 07:00to 19:00 (with overtime opportunitiesavailable).

ABOUT THEROLE

We are currentlyrecruiting for a parttime Control Room Operator to join ourSecurity Team.

As a SecurityAdministrator you will be carrying out various tasks for two keyfunctions in the business. Your role will primarily be focused onthe admin control and support of manned guarding activities. Youwill also be involved in CCTV monitoring providing a fast andeffective response to alarm activations or incidents andimplementing client escalationprocedures.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provideoutofhours support to all aspects of securityoperations.
  • Handle scheduling ofofficers book on/off check calls site setups andescalations.
  • Enforce the need foraccurate check callcompletion.
  • Complete remoteCompliance & Welfare calls as perKPI.
  • Conduct reactive and plannedoutofhours mobile security patrols of sites asrequired.
  • Track and manageinformation related to daily documents handovers andreporting.
  • Handle emailcommunications including sending receiving types of response andescalation using designated emailgroups.
  • Handle phone callsefficiently and professionally relaying information as necessaryand ensuring propercirculation.
  • Conduct auditsincluding key registers staff welfare and control room signin/outregisters.
  • Ensure compliance byensuring all staff are booked on and track any lateness on PeopleHours updating the ASM/RSM teamsaccordingly.
  • Effectively communicatewith clients for submittedrequests.
  • Update all relevantsystems and trackers related torequests.
  • Provide shift handovercommunication to chase any outstandingrequests.
  • Monitor CCTV and otheralarm equipment as required.
  • Performdaily/monthly camera checks and inspections in line with BS5979 asrequired.
  • Follow appropriateescalation protocols in relation to alarmactivations.
  • Operate communicationsystems and computerized alarm monitoring systemseffectively.
  • Act as a point ofcontact for the public emergency services andclients.
  • Demonstrate and maintainexcellent customer serviceskills.
  • Record any technical faultsand take appropriate steps to have them rectified within agreedtimescales.
  • Adhere to all monitoringstation policies andprocedures.
