Sodexo has a great opportunity for an experienced Compliance HSE Support Manager to join our established team working with our clients based in Barnsley.

Joining our team at their manufacturing site, you will support the onsite Sodexo Facility Manager with the compliance and management of the cleaning, waste, security, catering and grounds team to comply with legislation, company and client standards, ensuring that all Sodexo policies are adhered to HSE is compliant to Sodexo and Client requirements, taking all necessary steps to ensure maximum security of the kitchen, store, office, safe & monies and any other areas under Sodexo control.

The Compliance HSE Support Manager will ensure compliance is up to date and control & monitor financial performance of the unit to pre-budgeted targets across all services, ensure all statutory regulations and company policies are adhered to and take all necessary action, statutory or otherwise in the event of accident, fire, loss, theft, lost property, damage, unfit food or other irregularities.

Establishing and maintaining satisfactory relationships with individuals at all levels within the company and the client organisation, you will maintain the standards & integrity of the service and SLAs at all times whilst having regular contact with and attend to any reasonable requests from the General Services & Account Managers, producing any reports as necessary pertaining to current activities or events.

About You

Experience and knowledge requirement for this role:   

•      Experience in a similar compliance role within the industry looking after the cleaning, catering and security services

•      Experience of manging HSE following company practises

•      Ability to develop increasing individual effectiveness through leadership, motivation, communication, coaching and training

•      Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients and staff at all levels

•      Good standard of financial acumen & experience of managing budgets

•      Experience of delivering training using company guidelines

•      Self-motivated with a flexible approach to the role

•      Skills to cover catering as and when required

•      Ability to work effectively as part of a team

•      Ability to work well under pressure

•      Excellent customer service skills

•      Experience of managing a team

•      Computer literacy

Qualifications required:

•      IOSH Health & Safety Qualification

•      Front line SIA licence (cover may be required at short notice)
