Coating Assistant Supervisor

Equans is looking for a Coating Assistant Supervisor to join our team in EDF Torness, East Lothian, EH42 1QS on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri, 08.30 - 16.30
Please note this role includes CTC clearance, therefore, ability to pass is essential
What will you deliver?
The role holder will report to the Hard Services Manager and will be responsible for the delivery of Coatings work on-site and delivered to the Highest Standards. The role will also include scoping out and pricing work, interacting with our client, and communicating the progress of all work being carried out. There will be an expectation to deliver all work to the highest safety standards with our approved procedures, within budget and the appropriate timescales as well as delivery of work on the work week plan.

Who are we looking for?
Recognised Apprenticeship, ICATS, or similar and or industrial coating experience. Must have experience with Written procedures, being able to follow them and fill in correctly Must be able to manage people, be self-motivating, able to work on own initiative, liaise and delegate effectively with staff operating in a multi-disciplinary environment. Sound knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act, the Construction Design and Management Regulations, and show understanding of statutory maintenance requirements, legislation, Health Building Notes, and other technical documentation. Good level of verbal, written, and numeric skills and must be computer literate. Sound knowledge of standard spreadsheet packages and computerised estates and project management systems. Paint Inspector (NACE) Experience in managing contractors preferred Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely. Full driving license required.Desirable ?
