- United Kingdom**EQUANS is recruiting for an Industrial Assistant Supervisor to be based in EDF Torness, EH42 1QS. This is a permanent full-time role working 37 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary.**

**Shift Times**

Monday to Friday

**What you will deliver**

Manage, lead and supervise a team of Industrial Operatives whilst delivering high standards

**Who are we looking for?**
- Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred, but not essential.
- Good people management skills, self-motivating and good communication skills to allow successful delegation for cross functional service delivery.
- Good level of verbal, written, numerical and PC skills to desirable.
- Experience in the Industrial Field Preferred.
- Experience of managing contractors preferred, but not essential (training given).
- Driving Licence is desirable.
- On site Safety Rules training is a requirement (Training given).
- On site Field Supervisor Training preferred (Training given).
- An advance knowledge of health and safety requirements in a similar environment is essential, particularly in the use of hazardous substances and their controls.
- Experience of risk assessments / method statements would be preferred (training given).
