- United Kingdom**Equans is looking for an Apprentice in Carpentry & Joinery to join our team in Torness/Dunbar, East Lothian. This is a full-time 36 month apprenticeship - this will be 37 hours per week. **General Overview**:

- Must be able to demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate good practical skills.
- Must be able to follow instructions.
- Must have good organisational skills.
- Must demonstrate a commitment to the apprenticeship scheme, completing all required packages/workbooks as well as attending off-site sessions as required throughout their training.
- Needs to be able to evidence forward thinking to know how their career will progress.
- Must be able to work within the Hard Services team and assist Joiners in their day-to-day tasks.
- Must have good interpersonal skills and display a high standard of integrity and responsibility.
- Demonstrate the Equans values of Drive, Commitment, Daring, and Cohesion

**Impact**:
The Apprentice Joiner will work as part of the Civils team which is part of a wider Hard Services team. This team carries out planned and reactive tasks as required to support the contract.

**Complexity**:
Must be able to work closely with Equans team to complete day-to-day tasks and report to the Civils Supervisor and HSM to discuss their progression.

**Qualifications or Required Experience**:
Demonstrate a passion for Joinery. Good communication skills.
