Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in the implementation of activities and lesson plans, ensuring smooth and engaging classroom experiences.
  • Provide targeted support to individuals or groups of students across various subjects, catering to their specific learning needs.
  • Offer assistance to students with special educational needs (SEN), adapting materials and activities to accommodate individual requirements.
  • Supervise students diligently, maintaining a safe and focused learning environment at all times.
  • Foster a sense of unity and positivity within the classroom, promoting collaboration and mutual respect among students.
  • Support teachers in assessing student progress, providing valuable insights to aid in educational planning and development.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working with children or in an educational setting, showcasing your commitment to student success.
  • Passion for helping students, particularly those with SEN, and a desire to make a positive impact on their learning journey.
  • Strong teamworking skills, enabling effective collaboration with teachers, support staff, and students alike.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma; a relevant qualification in education or child development is advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
