Main duties of the job

Leadership and Organisational Development Business Partners (L&OD BPs) are primarily responsible for providing a dedicated and professional L&OD resource/service to a specified Directorate/Division within the Trust. The role includes the design, delivery and evaluation of tailored solutions as well as providing advice and support that meets specific needs through detailed analysis.

L&OD BPs are responsible for building strong and close working relationships with key stakeholders and management, applying a systematic, structured and people focused approach to initiatives aimed at improving overall performance and development.

L&OD BPs also provide cross-directorate support within their personal area of specialism or skill set Leadership Development, Organisational Development, Performance Management, Coaching and Mentoring and Continuous Improvement.

Educated to Degree Level (Level6) or equivalent experience (minimum three years' experience in a role with partnering, support or consulting tasks in a learning and development function) Developed consultation, negotiation and facilitation skills and abilities Able to analyse complex information and make suggestions as a result Substantial and proven OD/L&D experience at a senior level Experience of developing leadership and staff engagement programs Strong communication skills, including advanced report writing, presentation/verbal communication Excellent organisation and planning skills, is able to identify priorities and work effectively
