Lead and inspire a team of Meter Readers and Customer Technicians to deliver exceptional field-based services, including meter readings, smart meter installations, customer engagement, and water usage advice whilst fostering a motivated and high-performing team environment, driving continuous improvement and excellence.

You will ensure every customer interaction is a 5-star experience, resolving issues efficiently and exceeding customer expectations, and building positive relationships with peers, managers, and stakeholders across the business to ensure unified and efficient operations.

You will act as a referral point for your team, providing practical guidance and assistance as needed and ensure your team’s flexible approach to service delivery, meeting customer needs and scheduling requirements.

About you

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Field Team Manager to oversee our high-performing Meter Field Services team. In this frontline leadership role, you will have excellent leadership and motivational skills able to drive performance improvements, foster positive relationships, and ensure exceptional customer and employee experiences.

You will possess exceptional customer service and communication abilities with a high level of emotional intelligence and business acumen, able to build trust and respect within a team and with stakeholders.

You will be a problem-solver with a proactive approach to challenges and an ability to embrace change and drive this forward within your team with a passion for what you are doing. 

Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably within field services or a customer service environment would be advantageous.

You’ll have a full UK driving licence and be willing to undertake a DBS check prior to employment.
