Job summary

The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the recordingof high-quality data on clinical systems, SystmOne and Emis Web. Thepostholder will be responsible for producing and updating clinical reports forthe various services which are undertaken by Connect Healthcare Rotherham.

The role involes but is not inclusive to provide monthly/quarterly/6 monthly reports for relevantcontracts, to produce statistics and generate payments between ConnectHealthcare Rotherham and other services GP Practices, Public HealthRotherham etc.

As new projects and services come online, the postholderwill assist in producing high quality report templates, monitor progress ofprojects against KPIs and produce meaningful reports for Connect HealthcareRotherham management team as well as wider stakeholders such as localauthorities.

Main duties of the job

Good data quality is essential for delivering high qualitypatient care and safety. Data plays a key role in improving services anddecision making; as well as being able to identify trends and patterns. All ofwhich combined seeks to improve patient own time effectively to prioritise competing demand,generally working with minimal supervisionMay be required to undertake other appropriate duties asrequired by Line good relationships with a cross section of users atindividual, departmental and organisational levels. Liaise with colleagues inthe support teams to proactively respond to user issues/problems as they arise.Respond to user queries providing system support in apositive and timely new projects come online with implementation of newreporting systems, liaise closely with the supplier to ensure thatconfiguration of any new system will provide the correct reports and integrate effectivelywith internal that monthly/quarterly reports are accurate,up-to-date.Undertake analysis of new reporting systems, producinguseable reports for internal and external stakeholders. Full training will begiven.Planning and prioritise own the efficient and effective use of resources usedwithin the course of ones own duties.

Job responsibilities

Develop an in-depth understanding of system processes andinternal configuration and how they relate to the experience of users to ensurethat the system is best configures and optimised to support users in effectiveand efficient use of the system.

Undertake analysis of new reporting systems, producinguseable reports for internal and external stakeholders. Full training will begiven.

Planning and prioritise own workload on an ongoing basis andadjust tasks or activities daily as the situation requires.

Allocate work to other staff within the admin office in conjunctionwith the Service Manager.

The post holder will have infrequent contact with patientsin this role, however when needed will strive to ensure that focus in maintainedon the patient in a constructive and collaborative manner.

Follow Connect Healthcare Rotherhams policies andprocedures and participate in developing procedures in line with servicedevelopment.

Ensure the efficient and effective use of resources usedwithin the course of ones own duties whilst maintaining an awareness of thefinancial impact of inappropriate use.

Produce reports for Finance Departments for specific servicesunder Connect Healthcare Rotherham contract to enable payment for Rotherham GPpractices.

Maintain and update own training relevant to the post.Taking an active part in the development review of own work, suggesting areasfor learning and development in the coming year.

Advanced keyboard skills to operate a range of computer software.

Familiarity with various clinical systems.
