Our team:

Broadwick Group consists of the central functions which support and set the strategy and ways of working for the wider Broadwick divisions, such as Broadwick Entertainment and Broadwick Venues.

This role reports into the Group Director of Business & Operations, and will work closely with the legal team, CEO, Head of Strategy and Head of IT and People Team, to deliver the business objectives and ensure the wider teams are working as Group advises.


What we’re looking for:

The Compliance & Projects Manager at Broadwick Group works closely and is responsible for ensuring that the company is operating in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. This includes monitoring and interpreting changes in regulations, as per advice from the legal department or finding out regulatory changes through other means, developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures, and providing training and guidance to employees.

In addition to compliance, the individual will be working alongside the leadership team and the Group Director of Business & Operations to work on bespoke projects, which could include anything from new acquired company integration, assisting on the roll out of new systems and procedures to improve productivity, amongst others. The individual will be required to assist the Group Director of Business & Operations on reporting packs, tracking department business plans and offering certain levels of administrative support if required.

They will form part of the team responsible for conducting investigations into potential violations of compliance policies and working with the Group Director of Business & Operations, external regulators and auditors as required.

Additionally, they will also be responsible for working with other departments within the company and the DPO in relation to GDPR to ensure compliance with data.

This role is adaptable and requires experience of compliance and business risk. Ideally, the laws and regulations and general good practice related to the entertainment industry, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


What you’ll be responsible for:

Lead, alongside Group Business & Operations Director, on the implementation of an effective compliance program. Taking a central role in compliance related projects & enquiries. Working on further ad-hoc projects as required in line with the wider business and its objectives and strategies at the time. Ensure compliance and systems are being followed across the group, through monitoring and adherence. Proactively audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses. Creating sound internal controls to assist monitoring and adherence. Drafting and revising company policies alongside the legal and people teams. Supporting and ensuring teams compliance with GDPR – alongside the DPO and heads of department ensuring the templates and resources are being utilised correctly. New system adaptation. Maintaining the company risk register and priority risk dashboards. Generate of reporting packs (Risk, Compliance, and company updates) Administrative assistance.


You’ll need to have:

Experience of compliance and business risk with at least 3 years experience. Proficient on excel and microsoft office. Excellent organisation skills. Ability to problem solve. Integrity and empathy, with great communication and people skills, not shying away from difficult conversations. Experience in training, or engaging trainers. Experience in working across multiple departments and multiple teams. Have a proactive nature, and work efficiently and with a high level of independence.


Nice to haves:

Experience of working with laws, regulations and general good practice in the entertainment industry. Experience working with compliance in the live events space. Proficient in Keynote, Google suite, Slack and Monday.com
