Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Co-ordinator to join Riverlands Upper Bure Project in Norfolk to restore an internationally rare chalkstream. You’ll work with the Project Manager to deliver the National Lottery Heritage Fund funded Species Survival bid, working with partners to deliver projects to support our vision of a river and catchment that is healthy, clean and rich in wildlife that is loved and cared for by all. If you’d like to be involved in practical restoration and connecting communities to their local landscape, then this could be the ideal role for you. This project is funded by the Government's Species Survival Fund. The fund was developed by Defra and its Arm's-Length Bodies. It is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with Natural England and the Environment Agency.

What it's like to work here

You'll be based in the East part of the region, and your contractual place of work will be the nearest National Trust property to your home. Our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings at other National Trust places. We’ll talk about this in more detail at interview, but you should expect to be at a National Trust site for 40–60% of your working week.

What you'll be doing

This includes our community engagement program, our volunteer water quality monitoring and INNS control. You’ll have a great understanding of budgets and excellent planning skills. You’ll act as the focal point of communication as you support partners, stakeholders and the project team through delivery. You'll be required to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally. You'll have experience of records management and information systems, and you will act as the workstream lead on the engagement program. You’ll be enthusiastic about the aims of the project and working with people. You’ll be able to work on your own initiative in a confident and engaging manner seeking support where necessary.
