Job Description

Support Nursing Home Manager

Salary: Up to £60,000 + Car allowance

Our client is looking for an experienced nurse manager to join their growing team. As a Support Nursing Home Manager you will be supporting the Nursing Homes across the region and working alongside the Operations Manager to ensure compliance, implementing policies and providing mentoring to staff, ensuring positive results.

Qualifications
  • RGN or RMN qualification with an active NMC Pin
  • Proven experience in managing a care home, delivering positive outcomes
  • Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to provide evidence-based care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in nurse management
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in all aspects of care delivery

Responsibilities
  • Support and mentor care home managers and staff, ensuring a productive and supportive environment.
  • Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and business development, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensuing compliance with all relevant legislations and internal and external regulations, implementing strategies to minimise risks.
  • Maintaining high standards of care, while continually monitoring and improving care delivery to ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents.
  • Building and sustaining positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Establish systems to monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and outcomes.
