EYFS Teaching Assistant – Liverpool, L13

Position Details:

  • Start Date: January 2025
  • End Date: July 2025
  • Hours: Full-time, term-time only, 8:35am - 3:15pm

About the Role:
You will play a key role in supporting Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) pupils, helping them thrive in a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons and activities.
  • Supporting individual and group learning needs, including SEN pupils.
  • Fostering a safe, inclusive, and positive atmosphere for children.
  • Contributing to the assessment and development of children’s skills in line with EYFS standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with EYFS pupils is highly desirable.
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, caring, and patient approach to supporting young learners.
  • A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
