Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: Various locations in Liverpool, UK

**Salary**: £85 per day

**Job Type**: Temporary to Permanant

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team across different locations in Liverpool, UK. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning process within the educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

2. Assist with the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring that activities are developmentally appropriate.

3. Provide one-to-one support to pupils who require additional help with their learning.

4. Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.

5. Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring their individual needs are met.

6. Promote a positive learning environment by encouraging good behavior and fostering positive relationships with pupils.

7. Supervise pupils during break times and off-site activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.

8. Assist with assessment and record-keeping, including maintaining accurate records of pupil progress.

9. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support pupil development.

10. Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- A relevant qualification in education or childcare is advantageous (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
- Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and experience working with early years pupils is desirable for EYFS Teaching Assistants.
- Higher Level Teaching Assistants should have experience leading small group activities and supporting pupils with more complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is paramount.
