You will be expected to work 3 night shifts in 1 week out of 4. This position is full time hours a week and youll receive an annual salary up to £43,534 per annum - depending on experience. Main duties of the job
As a Registered Nurse (Adult) youll be an integral part of the healthcare team at Gatwick Immigration Removal Centre by bringing you clinical skills and passion for care. You could be involved in anything from developing and leading clinics, undertaking examinations and tests as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency. Knowledge in therapeutic interventions such as CBT or Steps to Wellbeing is desirable but transferable clinical skills will be considered with appropriate training provided.
You will have a real passion for developing your clinical skills in an environment that is ever-changing. You should possess a good working knowledge of conducting risk assessments and care planning as well as someone who is creative and forward-thinking to work through the issues that may arise in this challenging but exciting environment.

As a Primary Care Nurse you will work within amulti-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospitaladmissions. You will undertakemedication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency responsesituations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening.
