Are you an experienced Procurement Officer , and looking to develop your career with an award winning, forward-thinking charity? If so, we would like to hear from you.

As a Procurement Officer with The ExtraCare Charitable Trust, you will support the compliant delivery of our procurement strategy. You will be responsible for managing your own workload and smaller procurement projects as well as assisting Category Managers with high profile projects, ensuring delivery is timely, fit for purpose and risks are considered. You will be detail oriented and able to understand how individual tasks form part of wider projects.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar role, a methodical approach, be flexible and approachable, and have a willingness to learn and develop.

As our Procurement Officer, you will be actively involved in:

Supporting the Procurement Team in the compliant delivery of the Charity’s procurement requirements, whilst building relationships and working effectively with stakeholders. Ensuring procurement records and files are maintained and kept up to date. Administering key tasks and processes for the procurement team e.g. supplier set up. Ensuring the procurement contracts register is up to date. Undertaking activities such as preparing tender documents, conducting spend analysis, facilitating tenders, developing, and maintaining stakeholder relationships, conducting market research and any other activities as required.
