About the Role:
As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Developing and implementing tailored therapy programmes to support individual student progress.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive environment for students.
- Monitoring and evaluating student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
- Providing training and support to school staff to promote effective communication strategies within the classroom.
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate for the Speech and Language Therapist role will have:
- A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience working with children and young people, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
