Job Description:

Atomic Digital Marketing is on the lookout for two Senior SEO & Account Managers. This role is perfect for someone who is not only passionate about SEO but also skilled in handling client relationships. 

You'll be at the forefront of implementing the latest SEO strategies and managing client accounts to ensure their expectations are met and exceeded.

Candidates will be expected to execute an SEO strategy from start-to-finish. Beginning with discovering new keywords, creating a landing page plan for that keyword, writing the content needed for the page, creating the page inside a CMS, then integrating the new URL throughout the website.

In addition, you will represent the company as the main point of contact for client accounts. Joining monthly check in meetings with clients as well as reporting and educating them on the progress of their SEO campaigns.

What We Need from You:
  • Proven SEO Experience: Solid background in SEO with a track record of on-page SEO, Content SEO, Off-page SEO, and Technical SEO.

  • Understanding of Modern SEO best practises: Knowledge of the latest SEO trends, including optimising for user experience, high-quality content creation, and local SEO.

  • Client Account Management: Strong skills in managing client relationships, understanding their needs, and setting realistic expectations.

  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using SEO tools and platforms for data analysis and insights (Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, etc.).



RequirementsYour Responsibilities:
  • Managing Client Accounts: Oversee a portfolio of client SEO accounts, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are managed effectively.

  • Keyword Research: Finding new keyword opportunities to keep growing client sites by adding new pages and posts.

  • On-page SEO: You will need to analyse client websites' and their competitors to discover on-page elements that will improve SEO performance, as well as removing elements which may be impeding performance.

  • Content Creation: You will need the skills to write search-engine-optimised content for client websites.

  • Off-page SEO: From time-to-time you will be asked to outreach to third-party websites to negotiate new backlinks.

  • Monitoring Performance & Reporting: Regularly track and analyse the performance of SEO strategies, making adjustments as needed for optimal results.

  • Educating Clients: Help clients understand the value and impact of SEO, including the importance of current trends and best practices.

Skills That Will Make You Stand Out:
  • Creating SEO Strategies: Ability to craft effective SEO plans that align with each client's unique goals, incorporating elements like keyword research, content optimization, and link-building.

  • Commercial-Intent SEO: Driving traffic to websites is easy. We want to know that you can drive relevant traffic that is going to generate new customers for your client's websites.

  • Understanding Of YMYL Websites: E-E-A-T is becoming more prevalent in an industry where AI content is becoming the norm. We want you to be able to apply E-E-A-T on-page optimisations to websites in niches with extra scrutiny.

  • On-page Optimisations: We want you to be able to highlight relevant content that is needed to meet the search intent behind a target keyword, and then add that content to the page.

  • Technical SEO Acumen: Understanding of technical SEO aspects, including website performance and Google's Core Web Vitals.

  • Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills for keeping clients informed and engaged. Regular reporting on SEO campaign progress and results.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or related field (preferred but not essential).

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in SEO, particularly in on-page and content optimization.

  • Minimum of 1 year previous experience in a marketing agency/account management role

  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.

  • Experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
