Computacenter’s Data Center & Hybrid team are looking for a Business Development Manager to take our partnership with Dell to the next level. Computacenter and Dell are two of each others’ largest and most strategic partners. With the growing demand for AI and HPC solutions in the market, we need a passionate and commercially minded individual to help both organisations access each others respective capabilities, and bring sales teams together for the mutual benefit of our customers.


Reporting into the Solution Area Director for Data Center & Hybrid, and alongside our Partner Management and Vendor Alliances leads, you will work autonomously with the objective of growing our joint business with Dell and ensuring that Computacenter are Dell’s preferred partner in the data center infrastructure market.


What you’ll do

Build and own relationships with key Dell stakeholders, and broker relationships between sales teams on both sides Own the value proposition for Computacenter into Dell, and for Dell into Computacenter Understand the Dell product portfolio at a business level and articulate its value in the context of our customers Work alongside Solution Specialists and Account Managers to drive Dell opportunities and maximise commercial return Grow Computacenter’s business with Dell and its ecosystem partners (e.g. Nvidia, AMD, Intel etc.)

Secondary Responsibilities and Opportunities

Build and own a sales execution plan for growing our Dell business Represent Computacenter at joint EBRs and QBRs Attend Dell and other relevant industry events  Support customer campaigns, attend customer meetings and calls to articulate our Dell value proposition Educate and enable the sales force on Dell propositions Educate and enable the Dell sales force on Computacenter propositions Qualify leads and customer opportunities Re-connect with install base customers and support the pursuit of new leads

What you’ll need

Pervious experience in owning and building Tier 1 vendor relationships  Extensive Dell network and understanding of the Dell portfolio (data center infrastructure specifically – Server, Storage etc.) Proven track record of growing joint business with Tier 1 vendors Good commercial knowledge and understand of vendor incentive and rebate programmes Good presentation and communication skills and experience working directly with customers
