Job summary

The post holder is required to provide a clerical service within the Treatment Centre, ensuring that the professional and caring image of the Trust is maintained at all times. The post will involve a combination of patient contact (face to face and on the telephone), consultant and staff enquiries and a range of clerical duties intended to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Treatment Centre Administration Department.

Reliability, flexibility and a good team spirit are essential to the role.

This role is for the Eye Clinic Reception role Thursday and Friday 8am-4:30pm, plus Front of House Reception on a Saturday morning 8am-1pm.

Main duties of the job

Predominantly working on Eye Clinic Reception prepping and ordering notes. Following up on patients who did not attend their appointments. Booking in patients and checking demographics. To liaise with nursing staff, consultants, and other colleagues. Varied day to day tasks.
