Are you a highly skilled Pharmacist (Band 7) seeking a locum position? Medacs Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for 2 Pharmacists to join an NHS hospital in Chelsea and Westminster, to support them in providing the highest levels of patient care. Post 1
- Be responsible for the clinical pharmacy service provided to a sub-speciality within the Emergency and Integrated Care Division
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and legality and identify actual and potential problems
- Clinically screen and supply of medicines suitable for use as an inpatient and appropriately labelled for discharge
- Monitor and review therapeutic use of medicines
- Ensure the effective outcomes of treatment with medicines
- Monitor patients for potential and actual adverse effects of their medicines
- Take steps to ensure patients understand the purpose of their medicines and deal with any practical issues that may prevent the optimal use of their medicines
- Support the planning of patient discharge with respect to medication
- Ensure safe, clinically effective and cost effective use of medicines
- Demonstrate professional accountability to patients
- Support the provision of an efficient, safe and legal dispensing service in the Dispensary as required
- Promote professional standards in the dispensary by acting as a role model to other pharmacists and technicians

Essential Qualifications:
We are looking for an experienced and highly Clinical Pharmacist (Band 7) with:
- Master's degree in pharmacy (MPharm).
- GPhC registration.
- Previous wards-based experience.
- Minimum 2 years' post-graduate experience.
- 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
- Full UK right to work.
