We’re seeking a IT Application Developer to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to our IT Programme Manager, you will you will drive best practices across all application development, in particular the Atlassian suite products, mainly JIRA & Confluence.

This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our planned Bicester location and/or one of our offices near Guildford or Leamington Spa. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

Requirements

  • Perform system audit & make recommendation for improvements/clean-up activities
  • Configure the system according to best practices including security standards
  • Establish best practice for access controls/requests
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for Atlassian applications, including upgrades & patches
  • Alignment of Sandbox & Production environments for JIRA
  • Alignment & standardisation of data fields across Projects
  • Resolve backlog of requests for existing projects
  • Work with the IT Business Analyst and business stakeholder to set up new Projects & Workspaces
  • Develop and implement integrations between the client's Atlassian applications and other tools
  • Strong technical background in application development, with specific expertise in Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Integration knowledge between applications
  • Ability to adopt and implement best practices
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with external providers for specialized services/products.
  • Ability to contribute towards the broader vision of the IT and business objectives.
