About the role



We
are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic professional to join our Business
Development team, playing a pivotal role in the continued global expansion of all
our brands: YOTEL, YOTELPAD and YOTELAIR. This opportunity arrives at an
exciting time, following key hotel openings in 2024 across London, Geneva and
Tokyo (December), with at least an additional 11 hotels slated to open over the
next 3 years. 



This
role, based at our Global HQ in London, will report directly to the Director of
Business Development. The position focuses on Feasibility and Business
Development within YOTEL’s global expansion strategy, offering the successful
candidate extensive exposure to a variety of leading markets, along with
opportunities for regional specialisation. The ideal candidate will be
self-motivated and proactive, helping to grow our innovative lean-luxury
lifestyle brand through management, franchise, and leasehold opportunities.

Key
Responsibilities



  • Feasibility Underwriting: Comprehensive,
    commercially driven data analysis for underwriting financial models and
    business plans related to YOTEL hotel management, franchise and lease projects. 
  • Proposal Preparation: Meticulously prepare
    and present deal proposals and related presentations, financing packages, deal
    memorandums, market analyses, LOIs and Investment Committee proposals.
  • Leadership Collaboration: Work directly as
    required with YOTEL Group CEO, CDO and other senior leadership team members.
  • Industry Representation: Build a network
    across the hotel feasibility and development industry. Attend as required hotel
    industry conferences and events as a representative and advocate for YOTEL 
  • Business Development: Assist senior leadership
    in qualifying new business leads and developing strategies for growing in
    target markets via relationships with investors, developers, brokers and
    consultants. 
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and
    maintain strong relationships with YOTEL staff across global offices to support
    the company's growth.
  • Team Environment: Maintain a minimum of 4 days per week
    at YOTEL HQ, located in central London (Holborn).

Education
Requirements: 



  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Hotel Management/Real Estate, Finance or Economics;
    or Master’s Degree (MSc) in a similar field.


Skills
& Qualifications: 



  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in hospitality, asset
    management, investment, consultancy or a similar field that provides strong
    foundational experience for this role.
  • Expertise in hospitality finance and operations, with excellent data
    analysis proficiency in Excel – preferably with specific experience analysing
    hotel metrics and industry reports.
  • Strong proficiency and confidence preparing presentations in PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in a second language strongly preferred – including French,
    Spanish and German.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Efficiently manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required. 
  • Established network within the hotel and real estate sector preferred.
  • Commercially minded critical thinker.
  • Creative and adept problem solver with self-motivated attitude to
    excel in a fast moving entrepreneurial environment.
