If so, we have an exciting opportunity for two Family Support Workers in our Social Care Hub within the Disabled Children Service and Specialist Services.

About the Role

Our Family Support Workers are integral to the Disabled Children Service, a dynamic team that supports children throughout their entire social care journey. As a Family Support Worker, you will:

Provide Practical and Emotional Support: Assist disabled children, young people, and their families in leading as ordinary a life as possible, whether facing short-term challenges or long-term difficulties. Empower Families: Help families address and overcome various social and personal issues, reducing risks, and improving outcomes. Deliver Specialist Parenting Courses: Offer personalised parenting courses designed to support the complex needs of disabled children and young people.
