You will also collaborate with other data professionals to support data governance initiatives and data quality improvement projects.

A look into the role

As a data quality analyst within the Data Governance & Compliance team, you will:

Be responsible for tracking and resolving submissions to the data issues log

Work with data SMEs on resolving issues and being proactive in resolution

Profile our data domains and create data standards and metrics

Provide assurance on remediation

Knowing you’re right for us

Joining us as a Data Quality Analyst, the minimum criteria you’ll need is 

strong experience in data quality analysis within a professional services environment or equivalent

ability to interrogate, question, and remediate data quality issues using various tools and techniques

Knowledge of data governance principles and practices, such as data ownership, data profiling, data stewardship, data lineage, and data quality metrics

familiarity with data quality dimensions, such as accuracy, completeness, timeliness, consistency, validity, and uniqueness

proven track record in establishing and maintaining data standards, metrics, and building quality reports

demonstrated expertise in developing and enforcing data quality rules and procedures

Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying data anomalies

Experience collaborating with data owners to ensure data integrity and accuracy

Ability to effectively challenge stakeholders to ensure adherence to data quality standards

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and challenge assumptions effectively

Experience with data management tools such as Microsoft Purview 

Experience with data visualisation tools, such as Power BI

Experience with data platforms, such as SQL
