In the position of Business Assurance Senior Manager, you will play a vital role in collaborating with senior business partners to enhance internal control procedures, leading the programme at Aston Martin to establish a robust control framework and meet the reporting requirements of the UK Corporate Governance Code. Your responsibilities will include liaising with functional management to ensure that controls are well-designed and functioning effectively, with documented evidence to support compliance audit procedures. Significant experience from a similar position in a multinational groupStrong experience and interest for how technology and financial systems can support internal control effectiveness and efficiency.Solid understanding and experience with internal control frameworks including COSO.Strong analytical skills – includes the ability to spot, assess and address risk, materiality and interdependencies and translate it into impact analysis for the financial reporting and recommendations for improvement.Strong communication skills – presenting internal control and risk matters in an understandable way across various forums and levels of the organisation with the right level of detail.
