Three to four shifts per week - 12 hour shifts. You must also be available to work weekends 
Overtime rate is paid from 8pm Friday to 5am Sunday morning
£19.48 OT rate - Further overtime rates available on bank holidays

My client are looking for experienced Forklift Operators to work for one of our globally recognised clients, they're looking for reliable workers who will be able to assist with and cover periods of sickness/holidays from time to time.
If you have a history of driving FLT Trucks for many years maybe in house or your license has now expired this could be a great way for you to get back into the FLT operation.

As a Forklift Operator, you will be operating a forklift while ensuring efficiency and safety. You will use a counterbalance truc k with a clamp attachment. Operators are responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, trucks or storage facilities.
 
Forklift Operator duties and responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading 
  • Identifying damages
  • Reporting shortages
  • Report quality deficiencies
  • Transportation of raw materials to production workstations
  • Inspect machinery
  • Determine the need for repairs
  • Keep updated records of inventory
  • Produce activity logs
  • Comply with company policies and guidelines
  • Assist in keeping a safe environment
 
Forklift Operator requirements and qualifications
  • Experience as forklift operator or similar role
  • Attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of industrial equipment
  • Very good physical condition
  • Excellent coordination
  • Valid certification / Licences to operate forklifts
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
