About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Team Leader to join our Residential Children's Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of support workers and ensuring the highest standards of care and support are provided to our young people.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a residential care setting and will be qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent. You will be a positive role model and will be able to lead by example, promoting a culture of care and respect within the team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of support workers to provide high-quality care and support to our young people
  • Developing and implementing care plans to meet the individual needs of our young people
  • Working closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home
  • Providing supervision and support to support workers to ensure they are equipped to provide the best possible care
  • Deputising for the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager as required

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a starting rate of £13.40 - £14.22 per hour, £30 sleep-in rate, and overtime paid at an enhanced rate. We also offer career-enhancing qualifications and clear progression opportunities.
